Seeking Startups to Innovate Operations with Tech & Ideas! JR East Group's Challenge-Driven Matching Event for Startups

JR East Startup Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Yutaka Shibata; hereinafter "JR East Startup") announces the hosting of "STARTUP PITCH," an online event designed to promote matching between startups with excellent ideas and advanced technologies and the challenges presented by East Japan Railway Company (President and CEO: Yoichi Kise; hereinafter "JR East") and the JR East Group.

This time, the event will be held in an on-demand video viewing format explaining the challenges faced by the JR East Group, allowing you to watch it at your convenience.

The theme for this 13th edition is "Track Maintenance DX." We highly encourage applications from those who possess technologies and solutions that contribute to the advancement and streamlining of track maintenance work, optimization of material selection, and decision support.

[Event Overview] STARTUP PITCH is an online event where the JR East Group presents its operational challenges to facilitate matching with startups holding superior ideas and cutting-edge technologies.

In the past 12 events, we have had over 150 to 200 participants each time. Based on the subsequent business proposals, we conduct interviews with about 10 to 20 companies, leading to business co-creation studies with several companies.

For this 13th event, the Hirosaki Track Maintenance Center of the Akita Track Maintenance Equipment Technology Center will take the stage. Under the theme of "Track Maintenance DX," the person in charge will directly introduce the challenges and needs regarding the selection of track materials during track repair planning via video.
