More Valuable VIEW Cards Are Coming!

〇 East Japan Railway Company (headquartered in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoichi Kikuchi) and VIEW CARD Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shunsuke Miyake) will expand the number of valuable VIEW Cards that allow customers to earn up to 3.5% JRE POINT at station buildings and in-station stores from the current single card type ("JRE CARD") to six card types, starting September 1, 2026 (Tue). This initiative aims to make station buildings and in-station shopping more convenient and rewarding through JRE POINT.

〇 Regarding the "JRE CARD," the way points are earned during payments will change starting September 1, 2026 (Tue). Additionally, from March 6, 2027 (Sat), the VIEW Thanks Bonus, which awards bonus points based on annual spending, will expand to include the "JRE CARD," in addition to the current eligible cards "VIEW CARD Standard" and "VIEW CARD Standard (Revo)."

1 Expansion of Eligible Cards That Earn Up to 3.5% JRE POINT at Station Buildings and In-Station Stores!

Starting September 1, 2026 (Tue), five additional card types will become eligible to earn up to 3.5% JRE POINT when used at station buildings and in-station stores.

Start Date: September 1, 2026 (Tue)

Eligible Cards: VIEW CARD Standard※, VIEW CARD Gold, Otonano Hiyoko Kurabu Middle Card, Otonano Hiyoko Kurabu Jipangu Card, LUMINE Card

※ VIEW CARD Standard (Revo) is also eligible.

Point Accumulation Method: Combination of "Regular Points" + "Limited-Time Points"

※ For certain transactions, the timing of point accrual may differ, or points may not be awarded at all.

※ Using the LUMINE Card at LUMINE and NEWoMAN stores is not eligible for the maximum 3.5% point accrual.

Note: 0.5% points will continue to accrue for every 1,000 yen (tax included) of confirmed billing amount.

Point Expiration: Limited-time points are valid for 6 to 12 months from the date of issuance.

・Points issued in the first half (April–September): valid until end of March the following year

・Points issued in the second half (October–March): valid until end of September the following year

(Example) Points issued between October 2026 and March 2027: valid until end of September 2027

※ Points issued in September 2026 will have a special expiration date of end of September 2027.

2 Changes to How Points Are Earned with the JRE CARD

Previously, points earned through JRE CARD payments were only "Regular Points." Going forward, points will consist of two types: "Regular Points" and "Limited-Time Points."

Change Date: September 1, 2026 (Tue)

Before Change: 3% Regular Points per 100 yen (excluding tax)

After Change: 1% Regular Points + 2% Limited-Time Points per 100 yen (excluding tax)

※ The 0.5% points awarded per 1,000 yen (tax included) upon confirmation of the billing amount will remain as Regular Points and will not change.

3 JRE CARD Becomes Eligible for VIEW Thanks Bonus, Allowing Even More Points to Be Earned!

The "VIEW Thanks Bonus" is a service that awards bonus points based on annual cumulative spending.

The "JRE CARD" will now be eligible for this service, allowing customers to earn bonus points through everyday usage.

Start Date: For transactions starting March 6, 2027 (Sat)

Eligible Goods and Services: Everyday purchases, excluding certain items※

※ Exclusions include Suica charging, commuter passes, tickets, annual fees, and various service charges.
