The JR East Group will introduce a new limited express train capable of night operations in early fiscal 2027, aiming to realize the goal of "bringing vitality to the region and enriching Japan" as stated in its "Yusho 2034" vision. The train is designed so that the act of riding is the destination itself.

The name and exterior logo for the new train have been finalized.

At launch, plans include night operations between Shinagawa Station and Aomori Station, and daytime operations to Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station. Additional routes will be considered successively.

Through this new night train, which inherits the sentiment of traditional sleeper trains, we propose a travel experience away from daily life. We aim for many customers, both domestic and international, including solo travelers and those traveling with friends or family, to enjoy the excitement unique to rail travel.
