The "Excursion Ticket" is a digital ticket available to groups primarily consisting of elementary school students and preschoolers for short-distance travel within the Tokyo metropolitan area, offering the same discount rate as traditional group tickets. No advance application or train time specification is required, and it can be widely used for school events and travel by groups such as youth organizations. As applications are limited to the day of use, complicated procedures for chaperones in case of rain postponement are eliminated.
