Golden Week Period Usage Report

During the Golden Week period, the usage of Shinkansen and conventional line limited express trains reached 5.156 million people, which is 105% compared to the previous year. Although some lines experienced transportation disruptions due to heavy rain and strong winds, causing inconvenience to some passengers, the overall usage still exceeded that of the previous year. Many customers utilized the services, partly because the calendar arrangement made it easy to take long consecutive holidays.
