Announcement of Selected Companies for JR East Startup Program 2025 Autumn

○ East Japan Railway Company (President and CEO: Yoichi Kise, hereinafter "JR East") and JR East Startup Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Yutaka Shibata) have been promoting the "JR East Startup Program," a business creation activity in collaboration with venture companies and individuals with excellent business ideas, since 2017. ○ For the Autumn 2025 recruitment, we sought participants starting last October and selected 7 proposals out of a total of 191. ○ The 13th iteration of this event, the "13th JR East Startup Program DEMODAY," a real-life event gathering past program selected companies and the Autumn 2025 program selected companies, will be held on Thursday, June 4 at JR Shinjuku Station LUMINE 0. ○ At the "13th JR East Startup Program DEMODAY," we will hold a "PITCH STAGE" where the companies selected for the Autumn 2025 program will announce co-creation cases for the future, and an "EXHIBITION" to introduce numerous business co-creations developed by bringing together various ideas and technologies. 1. About the Selected Companies for JR East Startup Program 2025 Autumn We solicited participating companies from October 2025 under the three themes of "Regional Co-creation," "Digital Co-creation," and "Earth Co-creation (SDGs)," and selected 7 proposals from a total of 191. The selected companies will present their collaboration details at the "Presentation and Judging Session" of the "13th JR East Startup Program DEMODAY." What is the "JR East Startup Program"? It is a program that solicits business and service proposals utilizing the management resources and information assets of stations, railways, and group businesses from venture companies and individuals with various ideas, and realizes them after refinement. Held for the first time in FY2017, a total of 149 proposals have been selected to date, including this time. It received the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at the 1st Japan Open Innovation Prize sponsored by the Cabinet Office in FY2018, and the Minister of the Environment Award at the 3rd Prize in FY2020. 2. Overview of the "13th JR East Startup Program DEMO DAY" The "13th JR East Startup Program DEMODAY" held this time will feature a "PITCH STAGE" (presentation) where the companies selected for the Autumn 2025 program will announce new co-creation plans, and an "EXHIBITION" (booth exhibition) that displays and introduces numerous business co-creations of JTOS selected companies in addition to the companies selected for the Autumn 2025 program. *JTOS (Cross-Railway Social Implementation Consortium) is an initiative in which four companies—JR East Startup Co., Ltd., Tokyu Corporation, Odakyu Electric Railway Co., Ltd., and Seibu Holdings Inc.—collaborate to promote business co-creation and social implementation utilizing the resources and assets of participating companies. ◆ Date & Time: Thursday, June 4, 2026, 13:20–18:00 ◆ Venue: JR Shinjuku Station NEWoMan Shinjuku 5F LUMINE 0 ▲ "JR East Startup Program DEMODAY" Key Visual 3.
