"TRAIN SUITE Shiki-shima" Application Acceptance for Departures from December 2026 to March 2027 to Begin

TRAIN SUITE Shiki-shima operates with the aim of providing unique railway journeys throughout the four seasons, unearthing various regional attractions, disseminating information, and serving as a "bridge connecting regions." We are pleased to announce the operational overview and application acceptance period for "TRAIN SUITE Shiki-shima" tours departing from December 2026 to March 2027. 1. Overview of Operations for Departures from December 2026 to March 2027 *Refer to the attached document for details The two courses, "2-night, 3-day Course / Winter" and "1-night, 2-day Course / Winter," which were renewed last year, will continue to be offered in fiscal year 2026. The "2-night, 3-day Course / Winter" is themed "A journey enveloped in the warmth of crafts nurtured by the long winter, feeling the vibrancy of abundant seafood." It departs from Ueno Station and visits Mizusawa and Kitakami in Iwate Prefecture, Goshogawara and Hirosaki in Aomori Prefecture, and Shiogama in Miyagi Prefecture. The "1-night, 2-day Course / Winter" is themed "A journey to experience the beauty of life in the hometown of pottery and savor the blessings of clear plateau water." It departs from Ueno Station and visits Mashiko in Tochigi Prefecture and Kobuchisawa and Hakushu in Yamanashi Prefecture. All "TRAIN SUITE Shiki-shima" journeys are sold as travel products planned by travel agencies.
