Under the Group Management Vision 'Yusho 2034', the JR East Group prioritizes 'ultimate safety' as its top management priority and promotes a dual-axis management strategy of mobility and lifestyle solutions, based on the trust of all stakeholders. To achieve this, the entire Group will strategically promote DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and accelerate initiatives to maximize the potential of its employees.
We have now formulated the 'JR East Group DEI Policy' as the basic policy for promoting DEI within our Group. This is the first time our Group has established a policy regarding DEI promotion.
Furthermore, we have formulated a new general employer action plan based on the Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace and the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising the Next Generation of Children.
By continuing our DEI promotion initiatives in this new stage, we will further support the challenges of each diverse employee working within our Group and enhance corporate value by delivering peace of mind and inspiration to all stakeholders.
