JR East Train Simulator x Seibu Railway to Launch New Driving Experience Content - First Up: The Ikebukuro Line!

〇 Seibu Railway Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokorozawa, Saitama; President: Shuichiro Ogawa), East Japan Railway Company (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoichi Kise, hereafter "JR East"), and Ongakukan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kawasaki, Kanagawa; President: Minoru Mukaiya) will release a train simulator for the Seibu Railway Ikebukuro Line (downbound from Ikebukuro to Hannō).

〇 It will be distributed as additional downloadable content (DLC) for the "JR EAST Train Simulator" on the PC gaming platform Steam.

〇 Under the comprehensive partnership between Seibu Holdings Inc. and JR East, which has been ongoing since December 2020, we will further strengthen our collaboration to provide new value that exceeds the expectations of railway fans.

1. Content of this Release

The new "Seibu Railway Edition - Part 1 - (Seibu Railway Ikebukuro Line)" uses actual driving footage and vehicle sounds from the downbound line between Ikebukuro and Hannō to bring the experience as close as possible to actual driving. We have paid close attention to details, such as separately filming footage for different train types, departure/arrival times, and platform numbers, as well as recording signal call sounds and in-car announcements from active crew members. Please enjoy this realistic Ikebukuro Line simulator.

As indicated by "Part 1," we are also considering adding more scenarios, train types, and other content in the future. Please look forward to it.
