Railway Fan Brand "View Railway" Celebrates 1st Anniversary with a Present Campaign!

JR East View Tourism & Sales Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sumida-ku, Tokyo, President: Hiroyuki Sawada, hereinafter "VTS") will launch a special campaign to commemorate the first anniversary of the establishment of "View Railway," a brand specializing in railway fans, offering trips such as train journeys, photo sessions, and abandoned line explorations. Since the brand's inception in 2025, we have planned numerous "journeys that allow for deep experiences of railway charm," including tours of railway facilities not normally accessible, operation of special chartered trains, and photo sessions, all of which have been highly acclaimed by many railway enthusiasts. As the second part of our commemorative projects for the 1st anniversary of "View Railway," we will be holding a present campaign for an "Isumi Railway Kiha 28 2346 Driving Experience" and a "Fukushima Rinkai Railway Rail Paperweight + Dog Spike Set." Going forward, "View Railway" will continue to propose new ways to enjoy railways by developing unique products for railway fans that combine riding, photography, sightseeing, and hands-on experiences.

1. Overview of the Present Campaign

Customers who apply for and participate in a "View Railway" tour departing between April 1, 2026 (Wed) and September 20, 2026 (Sun) will be entered into a lottery to win special experiences and railway merchandise.

2. "View Railway" Special Planned Products Now on Sale!!

"View Railway" is currently offering a selection of railway experience tours that include the operation of special chartered trains and visits to areas not normally accessible.

The special chartered train using the overnight E257 series will run from Shinjuku to Niigata and Murakami via the Joetsu Line and Uetsu Main Line. Set up to evoke the "Moonlight Echigo," it offers an overnight train journey with a late-night departure and early-morning arrival, and includes tour-exclusive novelty items.

For trips to Hokkaido, we have also planned tours focusing on vehicles, routes, and facilities, such as itineraries enjoying long-distance rides on JNR-type Kiha 40 series trains and visits to areas related to the Yoshioka Teiten facility within the Seikan Tunnel.

All of these offer unique itineraries that are difficult to experience individually, making them exclusive to "View Railway."
