Exciting Projects to Boost the Shinshu Destination Campaign Pre-Campaign

JR East View Tourism & Sales Co., Ltd. will implement special projects to experience the charm of Shinshu, coinciding with the 'Shinshu Destination Campaign Pre-Campaign' (hereafter referred to as Shinshu Pre-DC) held from July to September 2026. They will also disseminate seasonal information through their own media. Please enjoy the charm of Shinshu this summer.

● What is the Destination Campaign?
It is one of the largest domestic tourism campaigns in Japan, where 6 JR Group companies unite with local governments and tourism operators to conduct intensive advertising during the event period, discovering and broadcasting new local attractions to draw tourists nationwide.

HIGH RAIL OBASUTE
On the eve of the Shinshu Pre-DC opening event, the Joyful Train 'HIGH RAIL 1375' will operate as the group temporary train 'HIGH RAIL OBASUTE' between Matsumoto and Nagano stations. It includes an original special bento box and a limited edition keychain. Enjoy an exclusive one-night-only night cruise.

Suwa Shinano
Through collaboration between JR Central and JR East, the group temporary train 'Suwa Shinano' (383 series) will operate on a special route between Chino and Nagoya stations. Enjoy exclusive services such as station hospitality and boarding commemorative gifts.

Shitteho Shinshu Train
On Saturday, July 4, 2026, the Joyful Train 'HIGH RAIL 1375' will operate as the Pre-DC opening special train 'Shitteho Shinshu Train'. Take your time to fully enjoy the scenery and food of Shinshu.
