(Headquarters: Sumida-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroyuki Sawada) will operate a special group train, the "GranShip Train Festa" train, using the E257 series from Shinagawa Station and Yokohama Station to Higashi-Shizuoka Station and Shizuoka Station, in conjunction with the "GranShip Train Festa" held on May 17.

・ On the outbound journey between Atami Station and Higashi-Shizuoka Station, Manager Minamida will be on board to conduct special hospitality events inside the train.

・ During free time after arriving at Higashi-Shizuoka Station and Shizuoka Station, you can enjoy participating in the "GranShip Train Festa" as well as a special public opening of JR Tokai's Shizuoka Vehicle Depot.

・ Direct access to the venue's nearest station from Shinagawa Station and Yokohama Station without transfers. This is a valuable long-distance operation where the E257 series, which normally does not operate west of Mishima Station on the Tokaido Main Line, will run directly. The special group train stops at Higashi-Shizuoka Station, the nearest station to GranShip, allowing easy access from the Tokyo metropolitan area without transfers.

JR Tokai Shizuoka Vehicle Depot is a JR Tokai vehicle base located in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and is an important hub supporting the operation of the Tokaido Main Line. 313 series and 315 series trains are stationed there, and vehicle storage, inspection, and maintenance are carried out. This time, you can participate in a special public opening event held in conjunction with the GranShip Train Festa. At the Shizuoka Vehicle Depot, you can enjoy displays of road-rail vehicles, experience pressing emergency stop buttons at level crossings, and more.

② Lottery for an autographed shikishi board! Manager Minamida will visit each car and hold a lottery for an autographed shikishi board in each car!

Born August 22, 1974, from Nara Prefecture. After graduating from Shizuoka University, he joined Horipro in 1998. While producing talents, he also appears in railway-related TV shows, radio, magazines, YouTube, and events such as TV Asahi's "Tamori Club" and CS Nittele Plus's "Tetsudo Hakken-den." He is also one of the "Railway BIG4" on NTV's "Waragami-sama wa Totsuzen ni...". His books include "Cargo Train Maniacs" (Kanzen). His first picture book, "Shogakko e Shuppatsu Shinko," for which he wrote the original story, is scheduled to be released in spring 2026.
