The Japanese Red Cross Society (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) announces the commencement of accepting donations for the disaster caused by the forest fire in Otsuchi Town, Iwate Prefecture.

All donations received will be sent in full to the disaster area's relief fund distribution committee to support the livelihoods of the affected people.
