This popular event showcases a selection of gourmet foods from 'Ii-mono Tanbo,' an online shopping site that highlights the charm of regions along the JR Central line. The fair features a wide array of local goods making their debut, freshly prepared sweets available only at the venue, and limited-edition items that are usually exclusive to the website. There are 27 participating shops, including five first-time participants and two making their first appearance in the Tokai region. ■ Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture Features authentic tiramisu made with house-roasted espresso, available in four flavors, including pre-release and venue-exclusive items. ■ Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture Live demonstration sale of their famous Kansai-style charcoal-grilled eel and dashimaki (rolled omelet) bento from a long-standing establishment on the western shore of Lake Biwa. ■ Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture Freshly made 'Hon Warabi Mochi' (bracken starch dumpling) crafted with domestic bracken starch and Wasanbon sugar. ■ Fujieda City, Shizuoka Prefecture Offers about 20 types of natural fermented confectionery made with pesticide-free home-grown lemons and koji (malted rice). ■ Hiratsuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture Sells high-freshness marinated shirasu (whitebait) and boiled shirasu. ■ Sakyo Ward, Kyoto Prefecture Features 'Kinugoshi Green Tea Tiramisu,' layered with Tanba-grown red beans and soy milk mousse. ■ Sakyo Ward, Kyoto Prefecture Bento featuring saikyo-yaki (miso-marinated) black cod from a 170-year-old restaurant. ■ Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture Morning-baked lemon cake made generously with Setouchi lemons.
