JR East Cross Station Development Company (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Company President: Yoshiaki Shirata, hereinafter "JR-Cross") and Matchbox Technologies Inc. (Headquarters: Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture; President: Hiroaki Sato, hereinafter "Matchbox Technologies") will conduct a demonstration test of "Q-Cast," a new service to support human resource acquisition for shops within the "ecute" in-station commercial facilities and to ensure secure employment, from April to the end of July 2026.
"Q-Cast" is a unique "facility-specialized" spot work service (short-term part-time jobs) that matches workers who have acquired common operational skills necessary for working at ecute with shops. By connecting "reliable, immediately available personnel" for shops and an "environment where workers can be active in various shops with peace of mind" in the in-station location, we aim to resolve the severe labor shortage and create attractive workplaces. This service is a joint demonstration test by the two companies, based on a business concept by JR-Cross, with Matchbox Technologies providing the system and operational support.
The official website is accepting pre-registrations for workers (job seekers) in preparation for the start of the demonstration test. Details and Worker Registration Here"Q-Cast" Official Website
