The "JQA Global Environment Children's Art Contest" excellent works exhibition, organized by the Japan Quality Assurance Organization (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroaki Ishii; Abbreviation: JQA) and the International Certification Network (Geneva, Switzerland; Abbreviation: IQNET), will be held at "Flower Park Kagoshima" from Saturday, April 11, 2026, to Friday, August 21, 2026.
Exhibition Highlights
24 excellent works from the 11th and 12th contests will be exhibited in the park's gallery. Each piece, drawn by children from around the world with sincere thoughts after observing nature and living creatures, is full of charm. Furthermore, each work shines with individuality in terms of country, region, age, and expression method.
Flower Park Kagoshima (Ibusuki City, Kagoshima Prefecture), the venue, is a park where visitors can enjoy plants from various parts of the world, taking advantage of the warm climate. Its vast 36.5 ha grounds feature various flowers and plants, areas to enjoy light, wind, and greenery, as well as diverse facilities such as indoor gardens and greenhouses.

What is the "JQA Global Environment Children's Art Contest"?
The "JQA Global Environment Children's Art Contest" has been held annually since 1999, with the aim of providing children with an opportunity to think about environmental issues through drawing. It is supported by the UNICEF Tokyo Office (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Abbreviation: JICA) (*). Exhibitions are also held at art museums nationwide to convey children's messages about the global environment to many people.

【Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA)】
Established in 1957, JQA is a fair and neutral third-party conformity assessment body that has consistently supported the development of Japanese manufacturing and service industries. Currently, it is the certification body with the highest number of management system standard audits in Japan (such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001) (*). It is also a calibration body that provides calibration of measuring instruments in the largest range of fields in Japan, as an organization that supplies national measurement standards to industry. Furthermore, as a designated body for domestic and international laws and certification systems, it provides diverse services such as electrical safety certification and testing for electrical products, medical devices, and in-vehicle devices, JIS mark certification, testing and inspection of construction materials, and auditing and evaluation of corporate activities aimed at achieving carbon neutrality and other goals.
