The Japan Sport Promotion Center (JSC), an independent administrative institution, is currently selling 'WINNER,' a sports lottery targeting the FIFA World Cup co-hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

The 'Single Match Prediction Lottery,' available for all 104 matches, allows customers to select and purchase tickets for any individual match—such as games featuring their favorite teams or players.

In addition to the 'Single Match Prediction,' JSC will launch the 'Tournament Winner Prediction Lottery' tomorrow, Saturday, July 4, where participants predict the champion from the 16 teams advancing to the Round of 16.

A portion of 'WINNER' sales revenue is allocated as grants to promote sports development in Japan. Additionally, funds are returned to club teams in J.League and B.LEAGUE, supporting player development, facility improvements, and team strengthening.

About Sports Lottery

Two-thirds of the net proceeds from sports lottery sales—after deducting prize payouts and operational expenses—are allocated to sports promotion grants. These grants have become a vital force in nurturing Japanese sports since the program began in 2002.

To date, approximately 310.4 billion yen in grants have been distributed (including allocations for fiscal year 2026).

Grant funds are used for upgrading sports facilities (e.g., grassing fields), supporting local sports programs and tournaments, and developing future top athletes.

Going forward, JSC will continue to enhance product offerings and sales methods to engage more customers, while implementing effective grant programs to contribute to the growth of sports in Japan.
