The NEC Group's blood testing service for predicting disease risk, 'FonesVisuas Test,' has been adopted by Royal Healthcare (Note 1), a Singapore-based medical institution and a subsidiary of Sojitz Corporation. Royal Healthcare has begun offering this service.

The number of patients with lifestyle-related diseases and dementia is increasing worldwide (Note 2). Furthermore, malignant tumors (cancer) and cardiovascular diseases (Note 3), which are leading causes of death in many countries, place a significant burden on patients and their families due to post-diagnosis treatment and potential long-term effects. Additionally, rising medical costs and shortages of healthcare professionals have become pressing issues.

Royal Healthcare is based in Novena, a medical hub in Singapore, and provides personalized, high-quality health checkup services, offering customized medical experiences that prioritize efficiency and convenience for both domestic and international patients. The adopted FonesVisuas service analyzes proteins that change daily from a small amount of blood to visualize the current state of the body. It also predicts the risk of developing diseases such as dementia, myocardial infarction, stroke, lung cancer, chronic kidney failure, and prostate cancer within the next few years. By combining this with traditional health checkups, Royal Healthcare aims to improve people's quality of life by guiding those in a 'pre-symptomatic' state—neither fully healthy nor yet ill—to improve their lifestyle habits and avoid future disease.

Moving forward, NEC intends to expand the sales of FonesVisuas overseas, with a focus on the APAC region, to contribute to improving the quality of healthcare globally.
