[Lecture Overview]
In recent years, in addition to the rapid progress of machine learning centered on deep learning, and against the backdrop of improved information technology infrastructure and public data platforms, AI technology, including generative AI, is bringing about significant transformations not only across society but also in the medical field.

On the other hand, to connect the achievements of medical AI research to clinical application and social implementation, it is essential to have research design based on clinical needs and close collaboration between clinical and research sites, in addition to compliance with relevant laws and ethical guidelines.

In this presentation, based on his achievements in leading large-scale medical AI projects and social implementation over the past approximately 10 years, the speaker will outline the current status and challenges of medical AI research and development in the cancer care field, as well as future prospects and strategies.
