[Lecture Overview]
As companies conduct business activities, initiatives for Carbon Neutrality (CN) are becoming increasingly important. As one of the measures to achieve CN, the movement to introduce Corporate PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements) to procure renewable energy electricity is expanding. In addition to on-site PPAs, off-site PPAs and virtual PPAs that supply only non-fossil certificates are also increasing.

In this seminar, after explaining each type of corporate PPA, we will discuss troubles arising in the development, acquisition, and operation of renewable energy power plants for corporate PPAs, and how to respond to them, based on recent court cases. We will also explain each contract clause of corporate PPAs.

Furthermore, we will provide commentary on discussions regarding RE100 Technical Criteria, co-location of storage batteries, and the pricing of non-fossil certificates.
