German Wine Fair 'German Wine Weeks 2026' to be Held

The Wines of Germany Japan Office will host the German wine fair 'German Wine Weeks 2026' from June 1 to July 31, 2026. At approximately 60 retail stores and restaurants nationwide, customers can enjoy popular German wines, including 'Sekt' (sparkling wine) perfect for summer, Riesling with its refreshing acidity, and elegant Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir). This year, the event is timed to coincide with the June-July period, which sees increased gatherings for soccer viewing, and will be held for at least one week at each participating store. German wines are characterized by refreshing acidity and rich fruitiness, and have recently gained attention for their versatility in pairing with cuisines from around the world. Participating stores will also offer seminars, special sets, and prize campaigns.
