This event featured unique projects such as a "truck tug-of-war," a competition unique to Yamatane, which operates in four business areas: logistics, food products, information technology, and real estate. This contributed to the cultivation of a sense of unity within the organization.

■Challenges and Background of Utilization

In holding the sports day as a commemorative project for its 100th anniversary, Yamatane faced the following challenges:

• The need for professionals for the first company-wide event: While this was the company's first attempt at hosting such a sports day, they strongly felt the need for professional planning and operational expertise.
