Seminar Overview

In recent years, attackers have adopted sophisticated methods, conducting reconnaissance and preparations before intrusion, leading to an increase in supply chain attacks originating not only from within companies but also from their business partners and subcontractors. While the adoption of EDR, XDR, and ASM is progressing in companies, threat intelligence is flooding in, making it difficult to identify and prioritize risks relevant to one's own organization, a challenge that has become apparent.

This seminar will explain a new approach to understanding threats from the perspective of "visualizing attack campaigns," taking into account attacker movements, to address these challenges.

Using examples of the solution "ThirdWatch" for visualizing attack campaigns, we will introduce practical methods for discerning priority risks from vast amounts of threat intelligence and connecting them to defensive actions before compromise. We will provide hints for complementing existing measures and building a proactive security posture.
