PUMA to Sponsor Yokohama Marathon 2026 for the Third Consecutive Year, Supporting a Wide Range of Runners' Challenges! First-Ever Monitor Program 'PROJECT FUN' Also Planned

PUMA Japan K.K. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) will sponsor the 'Yokohama Marathon 2026,' held on Sunday, October 25, 2026, as an official partner for the third consecutive year. Additionally, a running shoe monitor program, 'PROJECT FUN,' will be conducted for race participants. This event is held to promote sports and improve health, aiming to be an event enjoyable for everyone who 'does, watches, and supports.' It features a variety of events in addition to the full marathon, such as a pair relay, a bay highway run, a Minato Mirai 7km run, and an enjoy run, attracting a wide range of generations from children to adults. At the 'Yokohama Marathon 2025' held on October 26, 2025, approximately 29,000 runners participated in all events, including the full marathon and pair relay. On the day of the event, many runners ran through the city of Yokohama. Through this year's sponsorship, PUMA will continue to support the challenges of a wide range of runners and contribute to the further vitalization of the running culture. Furthermore, as a first-time initiative for this event, we will conduct a running shoe monitor program, 'PROJECT FUN,' for participants of the Yokohama Marathon 2026. In this program, participants will use PUMA's latest running shoes in the actual race to experience their functionality and comfort. The feedback will be utilized for future promotions and product development.
