Media Links Awarded Large-Scale Broadcasting Infrastructure Renewal Project by Major Middle East Gulf Telecom Operator

Media Links Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President: Tsukasa Sugawara; TSE Standard: 6659; hereinafter 'Media Links') has been selected as a partner for next-generation network construction in a media infrastructure renewal project undertaken by a major telecommunications operator in the Middle East Gulf region. This multi-million dollar project aims to further enhance the reliability of the current system and build a robust core transmission network anticipating future demand expansion in the region.

As part of this project, the telecom operator will adopt our Xscend platform to build an IP-based network foundation. The Xscend platform is characterized by its support for JPEG-XS and SMPTE ST 2110, allowing integrated management of diverse media workflows, both compressed and uncompressed, within a single chassis. Through its modular design and hitless protection switching capability, it realizes a broadcasting foundation that can flexibly respond to future service expansions while maintaining the reliability of broadcast quality.

In rolling out this project, deployment will proceed in collaboration with our certified integration partner. Working closely with us, this partner will support the construction of the Xscend platform, the implementation of related third-party systems, and network orchestration. This will deliver a fully integrated end-to-end solution across the entire scope of the project.

This agreement also includes a multi-year support contract, enabling the utilization of our advanced engineering technology and operational support. This ensures that infrastructure can be flexibly optimized according to situations—such as future requirement changes, increased bandwidth demand, and the introduction of new services—without requiring large-scale system overhauls.
