Louis Vuitton City Guide Monaco: Celebrating the Iconic Mediterranean Rock

To commemorate the 83rd Formula 1® Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco 2026, Louis Vuitton visits Monaco and pays homage to this principality nestled between the sea and mountains on a rocky slope with the 'Louis Vuitton City Guide'. This sanctuary of contrasts, covering just 2 square kilometers yet rich in diversity, has a history dating back 2,500 years.

The guest contributor for this first edition is Célia Bernasconi, Director of the Monaco Institute of Cultural Heritage and a native of 'The Rock' (Le Rocher). She embodies the diverse facets of the city. Through her delicate and sensitive perspective, the image of the Principality of Monaco as an international city where excellence and creativity merge in all fields emerges. The lineup is remarkably diverse, ranging from the artistic coordinator overseeing the restoration of the Prince's Palace of Monaco, to the last fisherman in the Port of Monaco, a casino employee, the artistic director of the Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo, the 'king of socca' (a master of the traditional Monégasque dish), and the personal secretary of the late Grace Kelly. A trendsetter and trendspotter, the 'Louis Vuitton City Guide' has been exploring the world's most vibrant major cities for nearly 30 years, sensitively attuned to the changes reshaping the heart of modern metropolises.
