FORCS Co., Ltd. (Japan) (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Chang Yong Nam) will launch two new features for its cloud-based electronic document and contract service "eformsign" on July 1, 2026, aimed at improving convenience in various contracting and application procedures.
The two newly added features are the "In-progress Contract Download Feature" and the "Non-acceptance Date Settings Feature" in application forms. This article introduces the key highlights of each feature.
New Feature 1: In-progress Contract Download Feature
● Background In the real estate industry, following the amendment of the Building Lots and Buildings Transaction Business Act in May 2022 which allowed digital transactions, the demand for electronic contracts and online explanations of important matters has grown. Consequently, the authenticity of electronic documents and the prevention of tampering have become increasingly crucial. Particularly in contracts involving multiple stakeholders, such as brokers, landlords/sellers, and tenants/buyers, verifying signed information beforehand is essential for progressing through contract procedures with confidence. To address these market shifts and needs, we have introduced a feature that allows users to download contract documents that are still in progress, complete with digital signatures, to verify the contents and the signature information of document creators.
● Feature Description With the new "In-progress Contract Download Feature," users can download the contract as a PDF reflecting the latest status at their own processing stage, even before the electronic signatures are completed for the entire contract. Since the downloaded PDF contains the digital signatures and signer information appended up to that point, users can proceed with the contract process after verifying the contents and the creators' signatures.
● Expected Benefits This feature allows contract signers to verify the contract contents and the signatures of document creators at any point during the process. Signers can confirm the digital signatures and signer details of other parties before signing themselves, allowing them to proceed with peace of mind. Furthermore, recording the signature information of stakeholders on the PDF increases the transparency of the contract process and improves trust in the contract contents.
New Feature 2: Non-acceptance Date Settings Feature
● Background For operations with specific business schedules, such as facility tours, consultations, and various application receptions, there has been a strong demand to flexibly configure dates that applicants can select, excluding non-working days and specific periods in accordance with operational guidelines. To support applications tailored to each company's operation policies, we have added a "Non-acceptance Date Settings" feature to prevent the selection of specific days of the week or specific calendar dates.
● Feature Description We have added setting items for unselectable days of the week, "Excluded Days," and "Excluded Dates" to the "Date" component, allowing users to easily configure days or specific dates they wish to make unselectable. This prevents applicants from accidentally choosing holidays or non-acceptance dates, providing control over date selection and enabling more flexible input validation.
● Expected Benefits By adding the "Non-acceptance Date Settings" feature, companies can exclude holidays and non-acceptance dates in advance, flexibly configuring the dates available for applications and reservations. Preventing applications on unavailable dates reduces the operational burden of rescheduling and re-guiding applicants. Additionally, applicants can only select dates that are actually available, allowing them to proceed with the application process smoothly and without confusion.
Release Date The two new features introduced here are scheduled for release on July 1, 2026. This update will provide more flexibility in document creation and application reception settings, making it easier to operate according to specific business needs. Please take advantage of these new capabilities.
