FORCS Japan Selected for "The Meet Hiroshima Open Accelerator Gov-Tech-Challenge"

FORCS Japan Co., Ltd. In this initiative, FORCS Japan will conduct a demonstration project for administrative DX of internal and external procedures in Aki-Takata City, Hiroshima Prefecture, utilizing its "eformsign" service, aiming to realize a "city where everyone can enjoy the convenience of digital."

## ■ About "The Meet Hiroshima Open Accelerator"
Matching startup companies with municipalities in Hiroshima Prefecture!

Hiroshima Prefecture held "The Meet Hiroshima Open Accelerator Gov-Tech-Challenge" to match 16 municipalities within the prefecture with companies, aiming to promote DX and solve regional issues.
Participating municipalities are those that wish to solve regional challenges, issues related to resident services, and administrative tasks with innovative ideas and technologies from startup companies.

## ■ Challenges in Aki-Takata City
Aki-Takata City faces structural challenges such as population decline and aging. Amidst this, paper-based operational procedures are a burden for both residents and staff. The city aims to achieve "anytime, anywhere, paperless" procedures. To create a city where everyone can enjoy the convenience of digital, a review of operational structures through administrative DX is required.

### ■ eformsign's Solution
As an implementation concept for administrative DX in Aki-Takata City, FORCS Japan proposed improving business processes across three areas: citizen procedures, counter services, and internal approvals. The focus is on promoting digitalization in the optimal form for each area, specifically envisioning the following three initiatives:

* **Online applications** that allow procedures to be completed without visiting the office.
* **Counter DX** to realize paperless counters and streamline counter services.
* **Internal operations DX** to digitize paper-based circulation and approval processes, enabling seamless internal processing.

By utilizing eformsign, FORCS Japan will strive to advance business processes from both safety and convenience perspectives, and realize a more comfortable and reliable service environment.

### 【Expected Effects】
Through this initiative, the introduction of online applications is expected to reduce the burden of visiting offices and waiting times, and improve procedure processing speed by up to 80%. Additionally, the digitalization of counter operations will reduce response times by up to 75%, leading to improved citizen satisfaction. Furthermore, the digitization of internal document circulation and approval processes will shorten approval lead times by 50-70%, reducing the operational burden.
Paper, printing, and storage costs will also be significantly reduced, allowing the freed-up resources to be reallocated to important initiatives.
