Grand Event Celebrating the Legendary Model That Changed the History of Music: [TELE TOWN] Announced in Nashville, USA

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (headquartered in California, USA; CEO: Edward 'Bud' Cole; hereafter FMIC) has announced that it will host 'Tele Town,' a one-night-only live music event to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Telecaster. The Telecaster is the world's first mass-produced solid-body electric guitar and is one of the most influential instrument designs in modern musical history. The event will take place on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the historic Ryman Auditorium, bringing together artists and fans for an unforgettable evening celebrating the guitar that changed the course of modern music.

'Tele Town' is a live event held in Nashville, the city where the Telecaster became legendary, paying tribute to its enduring influence across genres and generations. The event will be hosted by Zac Childs, a renowned Nashville guitarist, music insider, and historian, who will draw on his knowledge of Telecaster history to explore its innovative design and impact on music culture through performances and collaborations.

The event will feature performances by a select group of artists who love the Telecaster, backed by an exclusive house band led by Derek Wells.

Special Experience by Fender Custom Shop
Prior to the event, on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, a special Fender Custom Shop roadshow event will be held at Carter Vintage in Nashville. Fender Custom Shop Senior Master Builder Paul Waller, Master Pickup Winder Josefina Campos, and Fender Chief Engineer Tim Shaw will appear, allowing you to see the craftsmanship and artistry of Masterbuilt guitars up close. Guests will also have the chance to win luxurious prizes, such as Fender Custom Shop Josefina Campos pickups and 'Tele Town' tickets. Admission is free and on a first-come, first-served basis.
