CyberLink Adds AI Voice Cloning Feature to PowerDirector 365 Video Editing Software

CyberLink Corp. has announced the addition of a new feature to its video editing software, "PowerDirector 365," which has held the No. 1 domestic sales share in Japan for 11 consecutive years*. This new feature allows users to register recorded audio for use with text-to-speech functions. This feature enables users to generate audio using their own voice, allowing for more natural and personalized content creation. It can be used in conjunction with existing AI Story Generator, Text-to-Speech, and AI Lip Sync features. ■ AI Voice Cloning Feature The AI Voice Cloning feature allows users to save recorded audio as a voice profile, which the AI can then use to generate speech. Voice profiles created with this feature can be applied to AI Story Generator, Text-to-Speech, and AI Lip Sync, enabling the creation of more natural and consistent audio content. The operation is simple: select "Clone Voice" from the feature menu, read the displayed sample text, and record it to create a voice profile. With this addition, AI voice generation—which was previously limited to pre-set voice profiles—now allows for the use of original audio based on the user's own voice.
