Asteria Corporation (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoichiro Hirano; Securities Code: 3853; hereinafter "Asteria") hereby announces the impact on its financial results regarding the new listing of SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies Corp.), an investee of Asteria's investment subsidiary, on the U.S. Nasdaq market, as follows.

1. Impact on Financial Results

SpaceX (Official Name: Space Exploration Technologies Corp., Ticker Symbol: SPCX), an investee of Asteria's wholly-owned investment subsidiary Asteria Vision Fund, Inc. (Location: Texas, USA; hereinafter "AVF"), went public (IPO) on the U.S. Nasdaq market on June 12, 2026 (U.S. time).

The impact of this IPO on Asteria's consolidated financial results for the current fiscal year (valuation gains/losses on investment securities, etc.) is currently under close examination. Asteria will promptly disclose any matters that need to be announced as they arise.

2. Background of Investment in SpaceX and Progress to Date

Asteria has been investing in SpaceX through AVF since the fourth quarter of the fiscal year ended March 2022. Subsequently, as SpaceX's corporate value increased, Asteria recorded approximately 420 million yen in revenue within its investment business segment in the fiscal year ended March 2026. Furthermore, on June 9, 2026, Asteria disclosed the recording of approximately 400 million yen in gain on sales of investment securities due to the partial sale of SpaceX shares.

Asteria decided to invest in SpaceX because it identified SpaceX as a leading company in the "Device" domain under Asteria's key investment policy of "4D" (Data, Device, Decentralized, Design). Specifically, SpaceX's Starlink, a decentralized satellite internet service, improves the communication environment in all areas of the earth regardless of population density. Starlink enables internet connection even in mountainous areas and at sea where traditional mobile carriers could not connect, significantly expanding the scope of IoT and physical AI. Asteria determined that this would contribute to enhancing the future value of Asteria's own products, including its physical AI-related platform "Gravio."
