"9th BCCC Collaborative Day" Confirmed for April 21 (Tue)! With the Expansion of Stablecoin Issuance, Web3 Enters the Phase of "Social Implementation"

The Blockchain Collaborative Consortium (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yoichiro Hirano; hereinafter 'BCCC') is pleased to announce that in commemoration of its 10th anniversary in April 2026, its largest conference, the '9th BCCC Collaborative Day,' will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Muromachi Mitsui Hall & Conference in Nihonbashi.

This conference will be held under the theme of 'Web3 Implementation in the Real World.' In Japan, institutional frameworks as social infrastructure have advanced rapidly, such as JPYC Inc. receiving the first 'Funds Transfer Business' certification related to stablecoin issuance from the Financial Services Agency. At this event, we will reflect on the progress of the past 10 years and present a concrete vision for the 'next 10 years' paved by stablecoins and Web3 technologies.

The keynote speech will feature a dialogue on crypto asset and stablecoin taxation by Tatsunori Ibayashi, a member of the House of Representatives. In addition, there will be lectures by Mr. Shigeru Shimizu, Director of the Risk Analysis Division, Strategy Development and Management Bureau at the Financial Services Agency, and Mr. Gen Adachi, CFO of Netstars Co., Ltd., which is conducting demonstration tests of USDC payment services at Haneda Airport and other locations. In the panel discussion, Representative Director Hirano (CEO of Asteria) and Deputy Representative Director Okabe (CEO of JPYC) will converse on 'Web3 of the Past 10 Years and the Next 10 Years,' discussing the 'next 10 years' for blockchain to take root as a social foundation.
