Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture, Signs Agreement on Reuse

Jimoty Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Jimoty"), which operates the local information website "Jimoty" (hereinafter "the Company"), has signed an agreement on reuse with Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture (hereinafter "Bizen City"), and will conduct reuse awareness activities to reduce waste. The Company currently has reuse agreements with 308 municipalities nationwide and is working to realize a sustainable society through reuse promotion and waste reduction.

Objectives of the Agreement

Bizen City, in its Basic Plan for General Waste Disposal, has established "promotion of reuse" as one of its basic policy measures and is engaged in various waste reduction activities.

In recent years, with the spread of new lifestyles, such as changes in lifestyle, the amount of waste has been increasing, posing a challenge. To further promote reuse, the city has decided to enter into an agreement with the Company.

Activities (As of July 1, 2026*)

Through Bizen City's official website, official LINE account, city newsletter, and waste disposal pamphlets, residents will be made aware of the option to "give away instead of throwing away." By improving reuse awareness, waste generation will be suppressed.

Promoting Reuse through Collaboration with Municipalities
