Jimoty, Inc., operator of the regional information site "Jimoty," has concluded a reuse agreement with Nakano Ward, Tokyo, to conduct awareness campaigns aimed at reducing waste. Currently, the company has signed reuse-related agreements with 298 municipalities across Japan, contributing to the realization of a sustainable society through waste reduction and reuse initiatives.

Nakano Ward has established "raising awareness of source reduction and reuse" as a key policy under its General Waste Management Plan. While waste volumes are on a downward trend, the agreement was reached to further accelerate reuse initiatives to address issues such as landfill disposal reduction and resource recycling.

Under this partnership, the ward will use its public information channels to promote the option of "giving away instead of throwing away." Additionally, an official Nakano Ward account will be created on Jimoty to disseminate reuse information. Please note that the specific activities may be subject to change in the future.
