(hereinafter "the Company"), which operates the local information site "Jimoty," has concluded an agreement regarding reuse with Tomakomai City, Hokkaido (hereinafter "Tomakomai City") to implement reuse awareness activities aimed at reducing waste. The Company has currently signed reuse agreements with 295 local governments across Japan and is working toward the realization of a sustainable society through reuse awareness and waste reduction.

Purpose of the Agreement In its Basic Plan for General Waste Management, Tomakomai City has set forth the "promotion of household waste reduction," positioning the "promotion of reuse" as a key initiative. While the city has previously promoted the reuse of bulky waste through exhibitions and sales at the JFE Recycle Plaza Tomakomai, it has faced challenges regarding limited exhibition space and the requirement for residents to visit the facility in person.
