(hereinafter "the Company"), which operates the local information site "Jimoty," has concluded an agreement regarding reuse with Oi Town, Kanagawa Prefecture (hereinafter "Oi Town") to implement reuse awareness activities aimed at reducing waste. The Company has currently concluded reuse agreements with 295 local governments nationwide and is working toward the realization of a sustainable society through reuse awareness and waste reduction.

Purpose of the Agreement Oi Town has previously worked to reduce waste through initiatives such as a "Recycle Message Board," but further revitalization of resource circulation remains a challenge. Therefore, the town will partner with "Jimoty," a local information site used by approximately 10 million people monthly, to promote reuse within the local community. By introducing a system that allows for easy transactions via smartphones and other devices, the town aims to curb the disposal of large furniture and other items, thereby reducing environmental impact while simultaneously improving convenience for residents.
