Jmty has signed an agreement with Mihama Town to promote reuse and reduce waste, marking its 295th municipal partnership nationwide and providing residents with alternatives to throwing away large items.

Jmty, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "our company"), operator of the local information site "Jmty", has concluded an agreement regarding reuse with Mihama Town, Aichi Prefecture (hereinafter referred to as "Mihama Town"), and will conduct reuse awareness campaigns to reduce waste. Currently, our company has concluded agreements regarding reuse with 295 municipalities nationwide, working towards the realization of a sustainable society through reuse awareness and waste reduction. This initiative marks the 26th case within Aichi Prefecture.

Aim of the Agreement: Mihama Town is promoting waste separation and reduction based on its General Waste Management Basic Plan to solve the problem of resource depletion. With the suspension of the annual flea market since fiscal 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an alternative reuse method is required. Furthermore, there is a need to increase disposal options to prevent the improper disposal of home appliances and large furniture. To solve these issues and achieve a sustainable society, Mihama Town signed this agreement with our company.

Activity Details (As of April 1, 2026*): By publicizing our company's initiatives, we will enlighten town residents about the option of "giving away without throwing away," improve reuse awareness, and introduce it as one of the disposal methods to suppress waste emissions and improper disposal.
