Jimoty Inc. Concludes Agreement on Reuse with Ooi Town, Kanagawa Prefecture

Jimoty Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), which operates the local information site "Jimoty" (hereinafter referred to as "Jimoty"), has concluded an agreement with Ooi Town, Kanagawa Prefecture (hereinafter referred to as "Ooi Town"), regarding reuse, and will implement reuse awareness activities aimed at waste reduction. The Company currently has reuse agreements with 295 local governments nationwide and is working towards the realization of a sustainable society through reuse promotion and waste reduction. ## Aim of the Agreement Ooi Town has been working to reduce waste through initiatives such as "Recycle Message Boards," but further activation of resource circulation remains a challenge. Therefore, by collaborating with "Jimoty," a local information site used by approximately 10 million people monthly, the aim is to promote reuse within the local community. By introducing a system that allows easy transactions via smartphones, the agreement seeks to curb the disposal of large furniture, reduce environmental impact, and simultaneously improve convenience for residents. ## Activities (as of April 1, 2026*) Ooi Town's official website and public relations magazines will be used to raise residents' awareness of the option to "give away instead of discard," thereby improving reuse consciousness and curbing waste emissions. The Company will continue to strengthen reuse promotion in collaboration with local governments, aiming for the realization of a sustainable society.
