Dear Media Representatives,

Japan Management Research Institute LLC

We sincerely pray for the safety, health, and recovery of all individuals affected by earthquakes, floods, various disasters, war, sexual violence, and other damages both in Japan and abroad, and also pray for the souls of those who have passed away.

Today, June 8, 2026 (Monday) JST, an earthquake of magnitude 8.2 (some initial reports say M7.8) occurred near the Philippines, and a tsunami advisory was issued in Japan.

Our Chairman, Tomonori Tomura, a former UN specialist and a disaster prevention expert who himself experienced the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, made an emergency donation from his personal funds to the Philippine Red Cross.

We sincerely wish safety for everyone, regardless of nationality, both in Japan and abroad.
