[Seminar Purpose]

For those involved in auditing, or those responsible for promoting internal control and risk management, it can be very painful and affect the effectiveness of audits when on-site personnel react negatively or cause obstacles due to a lack of understanding of the importance and significance of these activities.

Unless on-site personnel are involved and their participation is enhanced through convincing feedback and guidance, voluntary and proactive transformation will not occur on-site.

Therefore, it is crucial to handle audits and risk management measures that satisfy the other party through smoother, empathetic communication.

In this course, we will provide specific countermeasures for 'communication risks in auditing' as essential skills and know-how for practical auditing, internal control, and risk management.

We will explain 'audit communication techniques' for effective audits, based on the concerns and actual cases of many people.

[Learning Targets]

① Acquire hints for audit activities that grasp the key points for improving the effectiveness of audits and internal controls.

② Learn how to 'open the door to the other person's heart' to access the truth, psychology, and reality through 'empathetic auditing.'

③ Transition from audits that appear difficult and clever to 'soft audits that grasp the essence by breaking it down.'

Tomonori Tomura, Chairman, Japan Management Research Institute LLC

[From the Lecturer]

We will deliver comprehensive skill improvement and essential understanding for auditors, incorporating 'audit updates' based on timely current events, focusing on necessary points for auditing such as business and human rights, ESG, and non-financial/sustainability perspectives, which are always well-received.
