This behavior must be strictly avoided. Drowning can be prevented if adults who have consumed alcohol behave responsibly. - Video campaigns will explain the dangers of entering the water after consuming alcohol.

About "World Drowning Prevention Day" On April 14, 2021, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution titled 'Global drowning prevention,' expressing concern over the severe loss of life and resources caused by drowning. In this resolution, July 25 was designated as 'World Drowning Prevention Day.' The day aims to remember the lives lost to drowning, reflect on the tragedy of these accidents, and raise global awareness about these preventable tragedies. The International Life Saving Federation (ILS) is a member organization of WHO. The Japan Lifesaving Association, as the representative body of ILS in Japan, has been conducting public relations for World Drowning Prevention Day since 2021 based on information provided by WHO.
