(Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Katsuhiko Tanaka) will begin shipping 'Le Breuil Golden Promise,' a French single malt produced by the prestigious Normandy, France-based Calvados producer 'Château du Breuil,' to liquor stores nationwide starting April 1, 2026.

This product is a rebranding of the item previously sold as 'Le Breuil Origin.' It has been renamed 'Le Breuil Golden Promise' and features a completely new package design. Furthermore, it has been highly acclaimed internationally, receiving a silver medal at the 'World Whiskies Awards 2026.'

About the Product This expression, aged for an average of over three years in French and American oak casks, is characterized by its vibrant and fresh style. When poured into a glass, aromas of white fruits reminiscent of peaches and pears spread, layered with nuances of nuts and dried fruits. Setting itself apart from conventional French whiskies that prioritize production efficiency, the brand adopts a manufacturing method that places quality above all else. Ingredients include 'Golden Promise,' the first barley variety used in France, as well as ancient barley varieties that have been lost to modern times, and they employ floor malting for the process. Furthermore, after mashing and fermentation, the spirit is distilled in Charentais pot stills, which were once used for making Calvados.
