■ Background of holding 'Oshigoto Fair'
With a job openings-to-applicants ratio of 4.10 for high school graduates in the class of '25, competition for hiring high school graduates has intensified recently against the backdrop of labor shortages. (*1) On the other hand, in the current job hunting process where high school students must decide on their career paths within limited information and time, early turnover due to mismatches after joining a company remains a major issue.
In response to this situation, government, educational, and economic organizations have discussed 'rule revisions' to ensure a sufficient period for high school students to choose their careers. However, the policy to maintain the job posting release date 'as is (July 1st)' has been upheld. (*2)
Furthermore, the fact that approximately 60% of new working adults who graduated high school and experienced job hunting answered, 'I should have gathered more information,' highlights the issue of a lack of job hunting information. (*3)
Therefore, to create opportunities for high school students to proactively design their careers and support better encounters between companies and young talent, Jinjib will hold the 'Oshigoto Fair' at 19 venues nationwide starting in May. By hearing directly from companies and deepening their understanding of work through experiences before the job postings are released in July, we will create a trigger for high school students to make future choices with a sense of conviction.

Oshigoto Fair is a job experience event for high school students. Local companies and high school students gather in one venue, and through job experiences and communication with working adults, students deepen their understanding of the appeal of companies and jobs, learn about their own interests, and create an opportunity to think about their careers.
This event also provides a mechanism to connect students to specific work experiences afterward, rather than ending with information gathering only on the day of the event. Participating students can express their desire to participate in internships or open companies (company visits) of companies they are interested in through 'Job Draft Navi,' a job information app for high school students. These requests are notified to 'Job Draft Teacher,' a job management system for teachers, allowing participating students to coordinate with companies through their teachers. Through this mechanism, we provide an environment where students can choose a career that suits them.
In 2026, it will be held at 19 venues: Osaka, Fukuoka, Sendai, Nagasaki, Yamaguchi, Kumamoto, Hiroshima, Shizuoka, Okayama, Tokyo, Gifu, Nagoya, Kyoto, Kanagawa, Saitama, Shimane, Niigata, Hyogo, and Tochigi. This will be the first time it is held in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
