Job Experience Event Held at Toyota Ohtani High School in Aichi! 100 First and Second-Year Students Participated

Jinjib (Osaka City), which provides employment support for high school students, held a job experience class for about 100 first- and second-year students seeking employment at Toyota Ohtani High School in Aichi Prefecture on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Through this class, students deepen their understanding of companies and industries through company explanations and actual work experiences, leading to proactive career choices and job hunting in the future. In addition, by having companies responsible for local industries communicate their appeal to local high school students, we will create opportunities for young people to meet and play an active role in companies within the prefecture, leading to further corporate development.

<Event Overview> Class Content: Job Experience Event Date & Time: Friday, March 6, 2026, 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM Location: Toyota Ohtani High School Classrooms (1 Minamiyama, Homicho, Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture 470-0344) Target Students: 1st and 2nd-year students seeking employment (approx. 100 students) Participating Companies: 20 local companies (Main industries: Manufacturing, construction, logistics, services, medical/nursing care, etc.)

<Background of the Class> As the job openings-to-applicants ratio for high school graduates in Aichi Prefecture in March 2026 reached a record high of 4.82, many high school students are currently deciding on a place to apply from the job postings that arrive at the school without a sufficient understanding of the reality of the work or the company (*1). Aichi Prefecture ranks first nationwide in the number of high school graduates finding employment and is proactive about employment (*2). At Toyota Ohtani High School as well, about 70 students aim to find employment every year.

Our company provides job-hunting support through information provision and career education so that high school graduates can play an active role in society. In this class, we supported the career education of Toyota Ohtani High School and operated a place where students could experience the "reality of working" through interaction with local companies. Through occupational experiences, high school students deepen their self-understanding and corporate understanding, preventing mismatches after employment. At the same time, we will connect this to the revitalization of local industries by having regional companies proactively communicate their appeal.

<Class State> In this class, students selected the companies they wanted to hear from, visited the booths of three companies for 30 minutes each, listened to the companies' stories, and actually experienced a part of the work.
