As the job openings-to-applicants ratio for high school graduates in Aichi Prefecture in March 2026 reached a record high of 4.82, many high school students are currently deciding on a place to apply from the job postings that arrive at the school without a sufficient understanding of the reality of the work or the company (*1). Aichi Prefecture ranks first nationwide in the number of high school graduates finding employment and is proactive about employment (*2). At Toyota Ohtani High School as well, about 70 students aim to find employment every year.
Our company provides job-hunting support through information provision and career education so that high school graduates can play an active role in society. In this class, we supported the career education of Toyota Ohtani High School and operated a place where students could experience the "reality of working" through interaction with local companies. Through occupational experiences, high school students deepen their self-understanding and corporate understanding, preventing mismatches after employment. At the same time, we will connect this to the revitalization of local industries by having regional companies proactively communicate their appeal.
