jinjer Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Ken Tominaga), which provides the integrated HR system "jinjer," announces the appointment of Yuichiro Matsuyama as its new CPO (Chief Product Officer) as of April 1, 2026. Based on his extensive experience cultivated across a wide range of areas, from IT infrastructure to cloud and SaaS business transformation, he will be responsible for formulating product strategies and overseeing the product organization, thereby driving business growth.
Background of CPO Appointment Since its launch, "jinjer" has pursued a product strategy centered on an integrated HR database, developing a lineup that covers a wide range of HR operations such as HR and labor management, attendance management, payroll, performance evaluation, and surveys. Recently, with the acquisition of Talentio, the company has also fully entered the recruitment domain. As jinjer aims for further leaps forward, positioning the period after 2025 as its "second founding period," maximizing product value and elevating the customer experience to the next level have become urgent priorities.
In this critical phase, Mr. Matsuyama was brought in as CPO, the command center for product strategy, because his "technical expertise" and "commitment to business growth" were deemed indispensable for the current jinjer.
Mr. Matsuyama has consistently led value creation through IT and technology, with experience in engineering and product-oriented business development at ITOCHU Techno-Solutions, business development and organization building in the enterprise domain at AWS Japan, and leading business transformation at Pioneer. We are confident that his extensive track record will be a major driving force in the further evolution of "jinjer," which transforms complex HR data into assets, and in improving the engagement of the product organization.
Profile of New CPO Yuichiro Matsuyama In 2002, he joined ITOCHU Techno-Science Corporation (now ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation). As a system engineer, he was primarily involved in the introduction of internet infrastructure, responsible for building and supporting the operation of corporate systems. Subsequently, he led many projects as an engineer specializing in ID management/authentication infrastructure. He later participated in product planning for IDaaS, a pioneer in the field, gaining experience in product-oriented business development.
In 2012, he joined Amazon Data Services Japan Co., Ltd. (now Amazon Web Services Japan G.K.). He served as Enterprise Sales Manager and Head of Migration & Modernization Business Development, promoting cloud migration and modernization for Japanese companies. He gained experience in both business growth and organizational development through sales and organizational management.
In 2022, he served as Product Manager and COO of the Mobility Service Business at Pioneer Corporation. He led the transition to a business model based on 'things x services' from the service business perspective, redefined product management methods for service products in manufacturing, and promoted improvements in organizational engagement, thereby leading business transformation.
In 2026, he joined jinjer Co., Ltd. and was appointed as Chief Product Officer (CPO). He oversees product strategy and the product organization, driving product growth and value creation through "HR data x AI."
Comment from New CPO Yuichiro Matsuyama I am deeply honored to join jinjer as CPO.
The reason I chose jinjer among many HR tech companies is my conviction that its foundation, the "integrated HR database," holds extremely high potential to fundamentally change the way HR operates in Japan.
Currently, many companies are exploring the use of AI, but the success or failure of such initiatives depends on the "quantity and breadth of data."
"jinjer's" decisive advantage over competitors is its underlying mechanism for naturally accumulating data across the entire talent lifecycle—including HR, attendance, payroll, evaluation, surveys, and recruitment—which is essential for daily operations and corporate activities. This end-to-end data structure functions as an "AI-Friendly data foundation," which will be key to future AI feature development. By possessing comprehensive HR data from recruitment to retirement within a single database, rather than fragmented HR data, we can achieve high AI affinity and develop AI functions that produce highly accurate outputs.
Moving forward, we will combine this robust data foundation with the latest AI to build a "secure and advanced AI platform" with appropriate access control. My intention is to evolve HR decision-making into a product that has a greater impact on management.
About the Integrated HR System "jinjer" jinjer is an integrated HR system that allows management of a wide range of HR operations—such as HR and labor management, attendance management, payroll calculation, performance evaluation, surveys, data analysis, and recruitment management—within a single HR database. The "correct HR data" achievable only with a single database enables not only the automation of routine tasks through AI but also advanced data utilization that accelerates human capital management. Through "correct HR data x AI," jinjer enhances the quality of organizational decision-making and creates a future that maximizes human potential.
