jinjer Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Ken Tominaga), which provides the integrated HR system 'Ginger,' announced that Yuichiro Matsuyama, former COO of Pioneer Mobility Service Company, has been appointed as the new Chief Product Officer (CPO) as of April 1, 2026. Based on his extensive experience cultivated in a wide range of fields, from IT infrastructure to cloud and SaaS business transformation, he will be responsible for formulating product strategy and overseeing the product organization, driving business growth.

Background of CPO Appointment

Since its launch, 'Ginger' has promoted a product strategy centered on an integrated HR database, developing a lineup that covers a wide range of HR operations such as HR labor management, attendance management, payroll, performance evaluation, and surveys. Recently, with the acquisition of Talentio, jinjer has fully entered the recruitment domain. As jinjer aims for further leaps forward in its 'second founding period' from 2025 onwards, maximizing product value and elevating the customer experience to the next level has become an urgent priority.

In this critical phase, Mr. Matsuyama was welcomed as CPO, the command center for product strategy, because his 'technical expertise' and 'commitment to business growth' were deemed indispensable for the current jinjer.

Mr. Matsuyama has consistently led value creation through IT and technology, with experiences such as engineering and product-oriented business development at Itochu Techno-Solutions, business development/organization building in the enterprise domain at AWS Japan, and leading business transformation at Pioneer. We are confident that his rich achievements will be a great driving force for the further evolution of 'Ginger,' which transforms complex HR data into assets, and for improving the engagement of the product organization.

Profile of New CPO Matsuyama

He then participated in product planning for IDaaS, a pioneer in the field, gaining experience in product-oriented business development.

In 2012, joined Amazon Data Services Japan Corporation (now Amazon Web Services Japan G.K.). He served as Enterprise Sales Manager and Head of Migration & Modernization Business Development, promoting cloud migration and modernization for Japanese companies. Through sales and organizational management, he gained experience in both business growth and organizational development.

In 2022, at Pioneer Corporation, he served as Product Manager and COO for the Mobility Service business. He led the transformation to a product-service business model from the service business aspect, and also promoted the redefinition of product management methods for service products and improved organizational engagement in the manufacturing industry, leading business transformation.
