▼Background and Challenges
Traditionally, the process of digitizing documents involved 'taking paper documents back to the office, scanning them on a PC, and importing them.' However, this method meant that documents received while out of the office or at a worksite could not be processed until returning to the office, leading to a time lag in digitization.
This posed challenges in terms of both effort and speed, especially for needs requiring immediate handling of 'paper documents on hand,' such as quotations received at client sites, work reports filled out in the field, or delivery slips received at stores.

▼Solution (Newly Released Feature)
With this new feature, simply by taking a photo of the document with a smartphone camera, GenOCR will read and digitize it on the spot. No dedicated app installation is required; it can be used directly from the smartphone's browser.
The captured images are processed by GenOCR's high-precision reading engine, the same as before, and support for non-standard forms and handwritten text is included. The results are the same as when captured on a PC, regardless of location.
