JGC Holdings Corporation (President and CEO Masayuki Sato) announces that its local subsidiary JGC France S.A.S., jointly with Technip Energies (France) and Samsung Heavy Industries (South Korea), has been awarded the EPCIC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning) contract for the offshore LNG plant construction project for Mozambique being developed by ENI (Italy) and others.

4. Contract Value: Total approximately USD 5 billion. JGC Group's share is over USD 1 billion (approximately 150 billion yen at 150 yen/USD). * About 50% of the above amount has already been booked as advance work from July 2025 to March 2026.

7. Project Overview: This project (commonly known as the Coral North Project) is a new FLNG plant for the Coral gas field offshore Mozambique, being developed by the customer led by ENI. It will be the second FLNG plant for Mozambique. The joint venture of JGC France and Technip Energies will be mainly responsible for the design and procurement of the FLNG topsides, as well as overall project management, while Samsung Heavy Industries, a consortium partner, will handle the EPC of the FLNG hull and fabrication of the topsides.

The first FLNG project for Mozambique (Coral South Project) was also awarded to the same three companies in 2017, achieving first LNG shipment in 2022 and currently producing approximately 3.4 million tons of LNG annually. The three companies have built strong trust and track record with the customer through consecutive FLNG projects in Mozambique.

JGC Group has established a leading contractor position in the FLNG sector, involved in the Coral South Project as well as two FLNG plants for Malaysia's state oil company Petronas (one in production, one under construction).

Additionally, JGC Group is executing the onshore LNG new construction project in Ruwais, UAE, and basic design services for the LNG Canada expansion project, the Mozambique Rovuma LNG project, and the Indonesia Abadi FLNG project. Through construction of environmentally friendly LNG plants, the Group continues to work towards realizing the energy transition and its purpose of "Enhancing Planetary Health."
