interfm (Tokyo: 89.7MHz Yokohama: 76.5 MHz) will broadcast a special program titled "INORI NI MICHITE ~Inori ni Michite~" on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 7 PM, featuring erhu player WeiWei Wuu and singer-songwriter Ayaka Hirahara as DJs.
This program will be a special broadcast commemorating the release of WeiWei Wuu and Ayaka Hirahara's collaboration song "INORI NI MICHITE ~Inori ni Michite~". "Inori ni Michite" was originally an instrumental piece written by WeiWei Wuu after she learned about the Noto Peninsula earthquake news two years ago while on a ship bound for Taiwan, based on her feelings at that time. Later, she offered Ayaka Hirahara, who had previously performed with WeiWei Wuu's younger sister amin (who passed away several years ago), the opportunity to participate in writing lyrics and singing, which Ayaka Hirahara readily accepted. The collaboration project then proceeded.
The result is a new version, "INORI NI MICHITE ~Inori ni Michite~", featuring Ayaka Hirahara's lyrics and her own vocals. In this special program, the behind-the-scenes stories of the song's production and the strong feelings of both artists towards the song will be discussed. Furthermore, towards the end, a famous Japanese children's song will be performed live in the studio by WeiWei Wuu on erhu and Ayaka Hirahara on vocals. Please look forward to it.
